An archdiocese serves as the metropolitan see of an ecclesiastical province, which includes several suffragan dioceses. The Archbishop has limited coordination authority but cannot override individual bishops' decisions within their own dioceses.

When advocating for the Traditional Latin Mass or other concerns, you must contact each diocese's bishop directly. The Archbishop can coordinate and facilitate discussions, but he cannot force a suffragan bishop to allow the TLM or change diocesan policies.

Each bishop has full authority in his own diocese. The metropolitan archbishop is primus inter pares (first among equals), not a superior.
